About Storatix

We build the software self storage runs on.

Storatix is a new self storage management platform. We are onboarding our first operators by hand, and we would rather tell you exactly where we are than imply we are further along.

Work in progress

This page is a work in progress. The section describing the company's history is unfinished, and the gap below is marked in plain sight rather than filled with plausible-sounding filler.

Our story

Where we actually are

Most storage operators run four systems that do not talk to each other: a management system, a separate payment processor, a lease binder, and gate software with its own tenant list. The software is not the business, but it quietly sets the ceiling on how much business anyone can do.

Storatix collapses that stack into one platform. Facility and unit operations, digital leases through DocuSign or Zoho Sign, rent on recurring Stripe subscriptions that settle into the operator's own account, OpenTech gate access tied to the rental record, and reporting across the portfolio — all built, all in the product today.

We are pre-launch. There are no customers yet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise: we are taking on a small number of design partners, setting their facilities up ourselves, and running alongside their existing system until they are satisfied. [NEEDS FOUNDER INPUT] — the founding story goes here.

Storatix is built and maintained by Kingpost Software LLC.

  1. 2026

    Payments on Stripe Connect

Rent collection runs as direct charges on each operator's own connected Stripe account, with recurring subscriptions, billing-cycle anchors, and proration.

  2. 2026

Leases go paperless, on two providers

Digital leases are generated from the rental record and signed through DocuSign or Zoho Sign, selected per rental, with completion tracked over HMAC-verified webhooks.

  3. 2026

    Gate access follows the rental

The OpenTech integration provisions access on signature and revokes it when the rental ends, with access events in the same activity log as payments and leases.

  4. 2026

One ledger for what a tenant owes

Balances are derived from Stripe invoices rather than incremented by a nightly job, so what the system says a tenant owes is what the money movement actually reflects.

Careers

Come build with us

We are a very small team. Everyone here talks to operators, and everyone here ships. If you like problems where the domain matters as much as the code, you will like it here.

Talk to operators first

Nobody on this team builds from a ticket alone. We sit in facility offices and watch the work before we write the software for it.

Boring where it counts

We are handling other people's rent. Payments, leases, and access control get the careful, well-tested, unexciting treatment they deserve.

Small surface, deep work

We would rather do a few things thoroughly than many things adequately. Saying no is part of the job.

Own the whole thing

Engineers here ship to production, answer the support ticket, and see the consequence. Feedback loops stay short on purpose.

Open roles

We do not have any open roles right now, but we are always glad to hear from people who know this industry. Reach out at [email protected].

What we have been up to

No announcements yet. We would rather have nothing here than fill it with things that did not happen.

Ready to see it against your own facility?

We would rather walk through the product using your unit mix, your rates, and your problems than send you a deck.
